The IESO recently launched a new online tool designed to help small business owners understand Time-of-Use (TOU) rates. “Time-of-Use Rates at Work” allows business owners to input basic information about their business’ electricity use to build a load profile. The objective of the tool is to get them thinking about their energy use and understand how their consumption profile will impact their costs. The profile shows the commodity costs under TOU rates and how simple conservation measures can impact their bill.

The site is now available on the IESO website at www.ieso.ca/smallbiz and can also be customized to incorporate LDC logos and different text.  Please contact corporate.communications@ieso.ca for more information about obtaining an LDC-specific version of the site.
