A Meter Data Management and Repository (MDM/R) Operations Working Group has been established to represent the interests of MDM/R service recipients. 

The working group consists of seven Electricity Distributor Association-nominated representatives and will provide MDM/R operational input and advice to the IESO (as the Smart Metering Entity). The participating Local Distribution Companies (LDCs) are also clients of prominent Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) vendors used in the province, including Elster, Sensus, SmartSynch, Tantalus and Trilliant.

The MDM/R Operations Working Group includes representatives from the following LDCs:

Chatham-Kent Hydro
Newmarket Hydro
Veridian
Hydro One
Horizon
