Weekly MDM/R Enrolment Update

LDC enrolment and testing activity as of Feb. 11:

 

  • Smart meters enrolled in the MDM/R:  ~2.5 million
  • Average number of smart meters that reported data daily to the MDM/R between Feb. 5 and Feb. 11:  ~1.8 million*
  • Number of LDCs integrated with the MDM/R:  20
  • Number of LDCs integrated with the MDM/R since Feb. 4 (end of last weekly update period):  0
  • Number of LDCs testing their systems and business processes with the MDM/R as of Feb. 11:  30

* There are occasions when enrolled smart meters will not report data to MDM/R. This is generally due to network communication changes encountered by an LDC as it collects and reports meter read data. As a result, the number of smart meters reporting data daily to the MDM/R will often fluctuate on a daily basis.
